HP ROM-Based Setup Utility User Guide - Latest!
ProLiant servers all come with a configuration utility that is embedded in the on board system ROM.
This ROM-Based Setup Utility (RBSU) performs a wide range of configuration activities
that may include:
• Configuring system devices and installed options
• Displaying system information
• Selecting the primary boot controller
• Configuring online spare memory
RBSU is available in two interfaces: a menu-driven interface and a BIOS Serial Command Console
(CLI) interface.
With the recent release of the ProLiant Gen8 servers, the RBSU User's Guide has been updated. Here is the latest and greatest.

Re: HP ROM-Based Setup Utility User Guide - Latest!
Hello,
I notice that the updated RBSU guide for G8s, specifically excludes the DL580G8. Is there a guide specific to it?
I have a customer who needs to disable cores on the 580G8, and I want to make sure this functionality is implemented on this platform.
Thanks!

Re: HP ROM-Based Setup Utility User Guide - Latest!
The RBSU user guide excludes the DL580 Gen8 because that server is UEFI-based.
The doc set you need for the DL580 Gen8:

Thanks!
