Microsoft Cluster supported with two Different Generation Servers
Cluster question from Mohamed:
***********
Can we build MS Cluster with two Blade Servers different generation “G7 and G8 “? Is this supported from Microsoft ?
***********
Reply from Frank:
*************
The only requirement from Microsoft for support is that the cluster pass the configuration validation wizard.

Re: Microsoft Cluster supported with two Different Generation Servers
That should be correct as long as the servers can both reach the shared storage and networks are also reachable and network config is the same you should have no problems.
