Option Rom Configuration for Arrays got wrong disk size

Hi,

I got a Poliant BL480G1 server with Smart array p700m connect to MDS600 via HP 3G SAS BL Switch. The issue is that I got 3T harddisks installed in the MDS600, but only can be recoginised as 2199.0G by Option Rom Configuration for Arrays.

The firmwares have been updated

HP 600 module disk system firmware version: 3.6

HP SG SAS Blade Switch firmware: 2.2.17

Server firmware: I14 05/02/2011

OS:OmniOS (I can't update controller firmware)

Does someone has any idea? Thanks a lot in advance.

2199 GB is the maximum size that can be addressed using 32 bit LBAs.  4 G * 512

The specs aren't clear on the max drive size, whether 2 TB is a max or an example.

Maximum Capacity 200 TB using 100 x 2TB SAS or SATA drives

The MDS600 quickspecs helped out (http://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/getpdf.aspx/c04140213.pdf):

NOTE: For 3TB HDD support in MDS600 for HP Bladesystem requires P711m and 6GB BL SAS switch
