Port MAP for C7000 with BL8x0 i2 and Quad Port Mezz Card
Hieu had a port mapping question:
****************
One question regarding port mapping on BL460c GEN8 using C7000 Enclosure.
If I put the 1Gb 4-port 366M Adapter into Mezzanine Slot 1 on BL460c GEN8. I’m not sure whether this 4-port Adapter route to interconnect bay 3 & 4 or interconnect bay 3, 4, 5 & 6.
Could someone help to confirm for this?

Input from Diane:

That doesn’t change on the Gen8 from the G7. Mezz slot 1 maps to slots 3 & 4. You have to go to slot 2 if you want to use a 4 port option.
This is in the Quick Specs:
Form factor
Type I mezzanine card compatible with all ProLiant c-Class Gen8 servers listed in the Supported Servers section of this QuickSpecs, all mezzanine slots. Multiple cards per server.
NOTE: If the 366M is installed in mezzanine slot 1 of a half-height server, connectivity will be provided on only 2 of the 4 ports.
