ProLiant BL460c G7 : 2 NICs connected on the same side , how to connect the on 2 different sides ?

Hi,

I've got 2 Blades on a C3000 chassis, and their 2 NICS are all connected on the same side (A side only) !

How can i change that and connect one NIC on each side (A and B) ?

Thanks,

J

You can't.

Half Height Servers

NICs 1,2 go to I/O bay 1

Mezz Card1 goes to I/O bay 2

Mezz Card2 goes to I/O bays 3 and 4

FUll height servers are mapped in a similiar fashion

If you have a Virtual connect (VC), you may do the configuration as you like to. Where-in you may assign the network port from any of the VC to any server in the enclosure.

The blades are hardwired to this bay. An additional mezzanine card is hardwired to bay 2, so you need such card. This is specific for the C3000 enclosure.

Hope this helps!
