ProLiant BL460c Gen8 is not able to get IP address from remote DHCP server
Hi,
we need to install SLES12 in several BL460c Gen8 by using PXE/DHCP configured in a remote jumpstart server. The server is perfectly working for other type of server.
I can see the DHCPDISCOVER and DHCPOFFER for the blade mac address in the server /var/log/messages, but not the DHCPACK and sucesive, so the blade (dhcp client) does't get IP address.
If I force the blade to boot over DHCP, the messages that it shows are:
dhcpcd[4003]: eth0: timed out
dhcpcd[4003]: eth0: trying to use old lease in `/var/lib/dhcpcd/dhcpcd-eth0.info'
dhcpcd[4003]: eth0: broadcasting for a lease
Please, help!!!

Re: ProLiant BL460c Gen8 is not able to get IP address from remote DHCP server
Finally resolved by myself, issues with the tags, concretly I have added the untagged port (Bay1 x6) directly in the Ethernet Network without create a Shared Uplink before.
BR,
JM
