Reset / Format SD card in BL460c Gen9
I need some help in clearing the SD card of HP BL460c Gen 9 blades.
We have several C7000 bladecenters and are planning to move up from vSphere 5.5 to vSphere 6
All our blades are configured with SD card for Statefull installs of ESXi through VMware autodeploy
For the HP BL460c Gen 8 blades we can use the reset factory default option in the BIOS whitch will result in a fully formattted blank SD card that we can reuse for the ESXi 6.0 installation.
Unfortunatly this BIOS option is missing in the Gen9 Blades, we do not want to use VUM to upgrade esxi 5.5 to 6.0 but want to really format all hosts (clearing SD Data) and perform a clean install of 6.0 through VMware autodeploy.
Can someone point me in the right direction?

Re: Reset / Format SD card in BL460c Gen9
Did you ever get this figured out?
I am looking for the same answer: Need to figure out how to format an SD card from a Gen9 BL460c so the SD card is clean and ready for someone else to install ESXi on it. For training purposes this will need to be repeated time and time again.
Thanks in advance.
