Restoring Win2k8 on BL460cG8
I have inserted Windows 2008 R2 SP1 DVD (through iLO DVD mapping) into ProLiant BL460cGen8 blade and booted the blade into Windows repair.
Then I have selected restore from a network share. But it can't find any network share.
I think, the problem is with network adapter - HP FlexFabric 10Gb 2-port 554 FLB on BL460c Gen8 which is not initialised correctly by Windows 2008 R2 SP1 DVD.
I have tried to ping networkshare from console without success. I can only ping myself (127.0.0.1).
This is not happening on BL460c G6.
Can anybody help?

Re: Restoring Win2k8 on BL460cG8
Hello Miodrag
Did you try to load drivers in Windows Repair?
You could copy your backup copy made with Windows Server Backup to root of your USB HDD and then restore it. I used that method few times testing disaster recovery procedures with some spare servers
Best regards
