Upgrading servers from Integrated Lights-Out 2 (ILO2) to ILO3?

The customer infrastructure is G5 and G6 Blades and they want to upgrade from iLO2 to iLO3, can this be done? If yes How?

Hello Waseem,

The ILO2 is built into the system board and cannot be upgraded to the ILO3, only upgrading the entire blade to a new G7 blade can you get the ILO3.

Embedded technology doesn't lend itself to upgrades very easily, if at all.
