c Class vs P Class HP Blade Severs

Dear All,

We are planning to buy more than 100 HP Blade Servers for one of the government organization for its country wide projects.  Could any please let me know what is difference between c class and p class Blade Servers? Which series of servers is currently latest in the market?  I think its G7 or some more updated technology is introduced.

The p-class is the old generation - don't care about this.

The current technology are the c-class blades, the generation depends on the model, but gen8 is coming soon.

I think I've heard Q1 next year, if you are going to make the purchase soon you will have to lock in with the G7's.
