i want to install windows 2012 in hp blade 460 g8 is it support hardware.

Hi,

Windows 2012 runs fine on Gen8 hardware.

However for full support and drivers U will need the Service Pack for Proliant 2012.10 which will be released really soon (rumours say tomorrow) www.hp.com/go/spp

Hi,

Be aware that SmartStart is not applicable anymore in Gen8 servers... This is now build-in funtionality inside the new ILO4. The mechanism itself is called Intelligent Provisioning and is accessible by pushing F10 during boot...

And that is what is not there today, but will be soon... Intelligent Provisioning does not support 2012 yet...

But U can start the install from the 2012 media itself, it will work as such... Only are U missing the HP specific stuff like all drivers, management applications and services...
