BL4XX Gen8 support for SB40c Storage Blade

Norman had a question on Gen8 blade support for the SB40c Storage Blade:

Does the BL460c Gen8 and other Gen8 blade servers support the “retired” SB40c storage blade?

If so, are there any special requirements to ensure compatibility? (re: firmware, etc.)

Hi Norman, I’m sorry; only SB2000 is supported with Gen8 blade servers.
