Create a RAID1 with HP Blade Server BL460c G7 and HP storage blade D2200sb

Hey,

I was wondering, is it possible to create RAID1 between two drives when the first drive is inside the blade server BL460c G7 and the second drive is in Storage blade D2200sb?

Any utility that can make it happen?

According to me its not possible because both the drives should be connected to same controller and backplane.

However both drive do connected to the same backplane only each drive have his own controller.
From OS side you are able to see both drives/ logical drives of the blade server and for the storage blade attached next to it, so i wonder of there is any utility installed on the OS that can managed such SW RAID1?
