Clearing the Virtual Connect system log?

I look after a number of HP BladeSystem C7000 enclosures, each having two HP VC Flex-10 Enet modules in bays 1 and 2.  The VC Flex-10 modules are running the latest firmware, v4.01.

 

The question I have is: how do I clear the system log stored in the VC modules?  Is this possible without resetting to factory defaults?  I have, of course, looked through the VC documents for this, as well as looking at the GUI/Web interface, the SSH command line interface and the VCSU tool, all to no avail.  Any help appreciated!

you cant delete the VC logfiles

I would SOOOOOO love if someone could show me how to clear the VC System Logs.  There has just GOT TO BE A WAY to clear it.  Anyone?

I was going to try to install a different firmware to clear the logs but i doubt that will work.
