Virtual Connect 10/10d dedicated 10Gb internal stacking links
James had a VC config question from a customer:
***********
Customer wants to disable the Virtual Connect 10/10d internal cross stacking links between bay 1 and bay2 in C7000 (BL460 Gen9 server) in order to use each interconnect module individually.
HP VC Flex-10/10D Modules
Ports X11, X12, X13, and X14 are dedicated 10Gb internal stacking links.
Is it possible to do so? If it is ok to disable, please let me know how to implement, thanks!
If it can’t achieve, customer will consider to change the currently interconnect module to other Ethernet modules, such as HP 6125xlg instead of virtual connect model.
Appreciate your support in advance.

Not supported. The first pair of modules in a VC domain (called the "primary slice" in the partial stacking feature) must always be connected via stacking links.
