hp bl495c memory

Hi, I have 8 new bl495c blades configured at a client with ESX 3.5 u4 When ESX boots it says my memory is not configured right. TSC: CPU0:0 ACPI: 998: NO MEMORY DETECTED IN SRAT NODE1. THIS CAN CAUSE VERY BAD PERFORMANCE. As you know the blades have 2 memory banks the left bank is empty and the right one is full I have 2 processors installed. should I put some memory in the other bank? what is the best way to share this memory? regards Domenic

If you have memory only on one side, the second cpu would have to use the other cpu's memory controller to access the memory.

Yes, you need to split the memory evenly. AMD Bus architecture has a CPU to direct memory access. This has been one of the advantages of AMD over Intel, until the recent Intel 5500's release.
