HP SUM Not able to Discover the VC module.

Hello

We are trying upgrade c7000 OA and VC form HP SUM. I have able to upgraded the OA firmware everything going smooth.But it comes to VC Module firmware ,it's  saying not able to discover . I have able to ping VC from server and able to open VC through web in that server.

i am getting discover error.

when iam tried to upgrade  through VCSU,its connecting But iam getting  FC module hard ware not support this software warning.

My VC firmware version is 2.2 .. and iam trying upgrade to 3.5. is it possible ?

Can any one tellme how to update this

Try firmware upgrade not from a server in the enclosure, rather from a desktop or laptop connected to the enclosure through network, using VCSU. What is the VC FC module that is installed?

HP SUM will also NOT (yet) upgrade VC modules when there is no VC Domain created.  So if this is a brand new enclosure with no Domain created yet, you will need to use VCSU to do the update.
