c7000 power supplies between different BTO's
Bien
Hello everyone,
I have 4 BTO c7000 models installed and need to replace a failed power supply in one of them. The BTO models are:
403321-B21
403320-B21
403320-B22
403321-B22
I've been told nobody has touched the enclosures since they were installed so, the power supplies should be the original ones.
When reviewing the Maintenance and Service Guide (page 19) there are 4 possible power supply options:
411099-001 - HP BladeSystem c7000 power supply
500242-001 - HP 2400W High Efficiency power supply
588733-001 - HP BL7000 2400W Platinum power supply*
544660-001 - HP BladeSystem c7000 DC power supply
Anyone knows what is the usual power supply used in these BTO models?
Unfortunately the QuickSpecs talks about power supplies in generic mode.
Additionally, the Maintenance and Service Guide strongly warns against mixing PS types (page 31).
Thanks in advance,
- Andres.

doesn't help very much either.
Can't you tell from the OA what kind of power supply you have installed?
Power and Thermal -> Power Subsystem ->
Even with our old OA (2.60) it's possible to see spare part number of the PSU. Maybe in yours too?

Re: c7000 power supplies between different BTO's
Hello Johan,
Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out with the machine's owner and will back with results.
Greetings,
- Andres.
