Joining us at this year’s celebration will be students from the University of Houston.  After the program, they will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with our executives for a private networking and coaching session.

We have also invited the Greater Houston Partnership to our event.

IMG_3853.JPGNo celebration is complete without awards and recognition of Heroes.  We are proud to recognize outstanding employees for their contributions.  Employees will receive awards in the following categories this year:

Key Contributor will be presented to an individual who has been very active in inclusion and diversity.  This employee has consistently gone above and beyond in support of their Employee Resource Group (ERG) and in support of other company ERGs.

Community Service will be presented to an individual who continuously “gives back” to the community.  This person engages in charities and organizations and has made a positive impact in their local community.

Shining Star will be presented to an individual for their stellar performance.  This person has been recognized both internally and/or externally in the industry for their contributions.

For the third year in a row, we will be bestowing the Black Employee Network (BEN) Legacy Award.  The BEN Legacy Award recognizes an African American in Information Technology Leadership that has given back to their community.

The HPE Black History Month celebration is planned by the leadership of our Black Employee Leadership Council (BELC).  The BELC is the national team of HPE Black Employee Network (BEN) leaders that support local BEN groups.  We also have the support of the Global Inclusion and Diversity organization, HPE University Talent organization as well as the HPE Houston Site Council.

Join us in this celebration by participating in a Live Webcast. All the details around the event and pre-registration can be found here.
