Tarani will be speaking on Wednesday, October 2nd at OCCC W222B for a one hour session starting at 1:30 pm addressing the topic: "Design Challenges: Solving Today to Ensure Sustained Future Growth"She is a dedicated engineering professional with three years of experience in wireless networking domain.

An enthusiastic engineer, researcher, and specialist programmer with zeal for learning new technologies. She is a competent software developer with enhanced professional and interpersonal skills. She has also been awarded Aruba Recognition Award March 2019-Gold category for her extensive contributions.

She has done her Master’s in Embedded Systems from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS-Pilani). Where, she has experience in working on Internet of Things (IoT) related problems.

 

During her Master’s she has extensively contributed towards IoT related projects and also participated in IoT based competitions. Her research interests involve wireless networks, software defined networks, Internet of Things (IoT), with applications of machine intelligence and deep learning.

 

Rashmi Kumar, VP Global IT at HPERashmi Kumar, VP Global IT at HPERashmi Kumar; VP of Global IT will be speaking on Thursday, October 3rd at OCCC W224A for a one hour session starting at 4:00 pm addressing the topic: "Digital Transformation: Disrupt or Be Disrupted". Rashmi has vast experience in the Industry and is an energetic leader with proven success in creating technology-empowered business strategies through the use of information intelligence.

Achieved by building platforms that enable new value chains and integrated ecosystems. Ability to lead organizations through both the exploration and then exploitation stages of ideas, while managing the change and taking the rest of the organization along for the journey.

A visionary information technology executive and strategist with focus on emerging technologies (SMAC, Gamification), combined with extensive experience in legacy technologies (Mainframe, Client Server, Web).

 

 

 

 

We’d also like to congratulate Janice Zdankus, VP HIT Total Customer Engagement and Quality, who is on the AnitaB.org Partner Panel and will be speaking on Friday, October 4th at OCCC W315B for a one hour session starting at 1:00 pm addressing the topic: Quantum Computing: Are We There Yet?.  Janice was also recently recognized as a top 50 Women in Technology by the National Diversity Council!

Parental Transition Support: A new child changes everything, including schedules. New parents will be able to apply to work part-time for up to 36 months following the birth or adoption of a child.

Wellness Fridays: We work to live, we don’t live to work. Employees will be encouraged to leave the office three hours early on a designated Friday each month to volunteer, focus on physical or emotional health, or spend time on personal or career development. Employees will be paid as normal for this time.

Career Reboot: This program offers job opportunities at HPE to individuals, such as stay-at-home-parents, who have been out of the workforce for an extended period of time and are ready to restart their careers.

Retirement Transition Support: Retiring is a major life transition. Employees within one year of retirement may apply to work part-time to help ease their transition to post-working life.
