146 GB Serial SCSI HDD

We have HP ML350G5 SERVER , i have 3 Nos HDD CAPACITY 146GB Serial SCSI HDD 1 PORT 10K Spare N0: 432320-001
In this morning i got it error msg Like HDD failed . so i will change the new hdd like
146GB SAS Dual Port 10K
Spare NO:418399-001.
this model only we have the stock Is it suitable for our server ?

Hello,

you can mix single and dual port sas drives without problems. So I can't see anything why the drive (418399-001) shouldn't work.

i couldn't test . now i am going to install new SAS hdd so before i have some doubt so i had raise the question . can i install new SAS dual port hdd ?

as I already said: Yes you can mix single and dual port SAS disks.
