Access Gateway Mode - impacts ??

Hi,

Could someone please clarify on the following:

1) A Brocade SilkWorm 4024 has turned up from the supplier and is configured in ag mode. Attempt to disable the ag mode to turn the switch into "native switch mode" returns an error indicating no license. Could someone confirm that this is the case and perhaps a full fabric license or something along these license is required.

2) If we do enable ag mode and then configure NPIV, what configuration needs to take place on other switches (Brocade & Cisco) in the other fabric which are running in "native switch mode"? Any disruptions or changes to existing fabric configuration in place when we turn the ag mode or configure NPIV?
