Adding Disk

Hi
we have a disaster recovery site which means we have 2 command views ,now I need to add disk in command view one and presented it to servers in site A.Do you think I should also add disk to command view 2,and presented it to servers in site B ,or it's not necessary

Re: Adding Disk

This is far from being clear.

Do you have 2 EVAs? Any remote replication or mirroring in use?

Hope this helps!

Re: Adding Disk

At a time only one command view server should be active at a time.

You can do the activity with any of the command view server. Commandview server is only an interface to manage the eva. once you execute the settings, it is stored in the storage EVA. Hence even if command view server is replaced no settings are lost.

Re: Adding Disk

1) CV is just a front end for management, all configuration data is on the EVA itself

2) if you want to open a call, call HP

Hope this helps!
