Adding several dozens of FC disks to an existing Diskgroup.
What is the Best pratice to add several dozens of FC disks to an existing Diskgroup? Does anyone have a script written in SSSU to achieve this? or I must add one by one via Command View? Any potential gotcha I need to be on the lookout for? Thanks in advance.

Re: Adding several dozens of FC disks to an existing Diskgroup.
You don't want to do 1 at a time since it will try to re-level the data for everyone.
Are you adding all the same size disks? to a group with the same size disks? (Yes, you can mix sizes).
Upgrade the firmware on the disks before you add them to the group. Makes life easier.
Try to do it when there is less i/o on vdisks from the group.

How to add all the drives at the same time? I am adding them one after another.

Re: Adding several dozens of FC disks to an existing Diskgroup.
Once all the disks are "seen" in Command View... click on the disk group and click "Add Disks". You type the number of disks to add to the group and click ok/add/w.e

Apparently this makes sure that the RSS is distributed evenly.
