Brocade Director 48000 Issues

Hi All,

I have received these messages in Brocade 48000 Directors

1:) Information port 352 (0x160) enforcement changed to Session Based HARD Zoning. err code: ZONE-1004

2:) Warning Switch status change contributing factor Marginal ports: 1 marginal ports. (Port(s) 160(0xa0))--

       Error code: FW-1436

Its a brocade Director : 48000.

Hey,

because error messages might differ between Fabric OS versions, the version you are running is somewhat important.

1) If you use this port in both a "DID, PID"-zoning and wwn-based zoning it will be zoned with "session based zoning". This is software zoning.

2) You got some problems with port 160. Run portstatsshow, sfpshow, etc and troubleshoot further. The switch has changed because a threshold has been surpassed. See "switchstatuspolicyset".
