C-Class B-series FC switch firmware 5.1.xx
HI
I have a customer who purchased a C-Class enclosure 2 years ago but has only just got into a position to implement it. Unfortunately, the FC switches that were purchased at the time are massively out of date. They are running 5.0.5 firmware which apparently requires a 5.1.xx version upgrade as the next in line. The earliest version I have is 5.3.0 (which isn't accepted) and the only version I could find through the forums and on the web was 5.1.0 which doesn't carry code for the embedded C-Class switch (switch type 43). Does anybody have a version or is there an HP FTP site that I could download it from(software library?)?
I believe from 5.1.xx I can go straight to 5.3 then up to 6.0, 6.1, 6.2 etc.. If there is a document on the minimum required upgrade paths, also that would be good.
Thanks
Richard
Thanks

Re: C-Class B-series FC switch firmware 5.1.xx
Do you know what the exact switch model ?
Is it Broacade SW 4Gb/24 port? If it is, then this maybe useful.

Re: C-Class B-series FC switch firmware 5.1.xx
5.1 can go to 5.3. From there you need to do single steps: 6.0, 6.1, 6.2. It is advisable to check each version's release notes.
