We have CV EVA 7.00.01 in that we are managing two EVA-5000 and EVA-8100.
When ever I tried to open "Controller Termination Event log" on any of the storage box the CV EVA services getting restart.

Kindly suggest

Re: CV EVA services getting restart

It is a bug in CV-EVA which is fixed in later versions.
I suggest you check if you can just upgrade to a newer version.

Re: CV EVA services getting restart

Really? If I remember correctly, it has never worked for me, but that was some time ago.

Now, I just got an idea you could try:
If you browse the C: disk, there is a folder named after the WWN of the EVA.
You could try a 'resync' of the event log by:
- stopping the CV-EVA service
- rename the folder
- restart the CV-EVA service
- wait some time (15 to 20 minutes), because CV-EVA now reloads the event buffer from the EVA
- then try to open the "Controller Termination Event log" again.

Re: CV EVA services getting restart

I'm sorry, I don't remember what it was on CV7 and it depends on the Windows language version (I think it is below "%ProgramFiles%"). I would search for the pattern "5000-1FE1-*".
