Re: Cable and switch for eva4400

hi

I think you IBM is 1GB output so you would need LC - SC cable

some thing like this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2m-LC-SC-Duplex-50-125-Multimode-2-Gb-Fiber-Patch-Cable-Aqua-om3-/161857149143?hash=item25af7018d7:g:UAMAAOSwwbdWHXQs

the connector should be the same

if you like give a Kudo

Re: Cable and switch for eva4400

Hi

your HSV300 is 4GB and your HBA from the picture is 2GB or 4GB

you need at least a 2GB switch some thing like this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-Brocade-3534-F08-8-Port-2GB-Fiber-Fibre-Channel-SAN-Network-Switch-18P4393-/201174102084?hash=item2ed6e93044:g:AfYAAOSwRLZUGwND

you would need an SFP for it something like this for each port you use

http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-53P1223-2GB-850MM-SFP-Optical-Tranceiver-/281125563225?hash=item417463ab59:g:MIAAAOxyMxpRxdHr

you shuold check the model according to the switch you buy

and you would need cables like this OM2 (orange) or OM3 (light blue) grade would be could OK
