Can´t enable 4-32 SAN Switch

Hi
i have a HP 4-32 SAN Switch. The switch is disabled and i can´t enable it via GUI or per command line.

Have anyone an idea?

Is it connected to anything?
Has it been enabled before?
How are you trying to enable it? 'switchenable' from CLI?
Any errors after that? (errdump/errshow in CLI) or maybe just in the web interface? Any error leds or such there?

the switch is to nothing connected (testswitch at the moment)
It was not enabled before.
i enabled the switch in the GUI and CLI.
The only LOG entry was:

switch is not in ready state - switch enable failed switch status=0x4, c_flags = 0x0.

that´s all :(

Hey, have you done anything else? Like set IP, hostname, etc? Maybe a cfgclear Maybe a switchdisable and then switchenable?

What does the 'switchshow' command say?

What about the other health checks? Like sensorshow/chassisshow?

What about the leds?
