Can we install RSM in box other than the management server

Hi ,

We have a RSM 5.2 installed with command view eva 9.11 on win 203 32 bit box ( management server )

Is it possible to install RSM 5.2 on another box  , so that load on thta box can be balanced , bcoz we take snapclones through RSM which almost hangs my mangmt server .

Hi

This from RSM installation guide

• The replication manager can be installed on a separate server from HP P6000 Command
View. However, the replication manager requires that HP SMI-S be on the same server. If HP
SMI-S was not previously installed, the replication manager will install it.
