Cann't pass the validation SCSI-3 persistent reservation on Windows 2008

Dear all,
I use EVA4400 with HSV200 firmware, HP Command view 6.0. Now I want to setup a cluster on Windows 2008 64-bit, but I can not pass the validation SCSI-3 Persistent Reservation. I always see error message "validate SCSI-3 Persistent Reservation – Failed".
My question is :
1. I must ugrade the firmware, HP command view of SAN ?
2. Is there any difference between licence on HP command view 6.0 and HP command view 8?

Thanks you.

Re: Cann't pass the validation SCSI-3 persistent reservation on Windows 2008

Somehow your details do not match:
an EVA-4400 uses HSV300 controller modules and requires CV-EVA V8 at minimum.

1. We need the correct details (including the HSV firmware revision, which you can see in CV-EVA) to answer your question correctly ;-)

2. Yes! Absolutely! You do need new license keys (HP autopass-based), because CV 7 and higher now enforce the licensed capacities.

I strongly recommend that you get hold of the keys _before_ you start the upgrade. While CV-8/CV-9 offers a 60 day 'evaluation period' I have seen cases where this time was not sufficient to get hold of the keys for some reason...

Another problem why the test might not pass is that you have selected the wrong operating system type for the host entry in CV-EVA,
