Hello there ,
When i tries to access my STORAGE from COMMAND VIEW EVA from Management Server, There is an error message "Operation Failed " Saying "" The storage system requires a password for access. Click the OK button to configure the password"". I have tried enabling/desabling/changing passwords but still it shows the same error. I am using the Administrator user of the server for loging in and it is the member of all the HP related groups. But I can access the Storage from Management module. It works fine..
Can anyone plese guide me how to got rid of this problem??????
P.S. This thread has been moved from HP Storage System Scripting Utility (SSSU) to Storage Area Networks (SAN) (Enterprise). - HP Forum Moderator

SolutionJust use the correct password!
You can configure a password directly at the EVA (e.g. from WOCP).
CV is asking for that password, if set.
It is asking only 1 time, then it remembers this password forever, until you deinstall/re-install CV. Then you need the password again.
If your EVA has a WOCP, connect to it and configure a new password.
It is related directly to the EVA, NOT to a windows user!
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
