Hi,
I have a client with some weird stuff on his switches.
Some ports are negotiated to 2Gb.
i tried to set them to 4Gb but then he looses connection.
The SFP's are 4Gb and i also tried new SFP's. i tried another port on the switch and also tried to set them fixed on 4Gb.
Anybody that has an idea how to set these ports to 4Gb?
kind regards,
Pieter

Re: Cannot set speed to 4Gb on brocade switch
Hi,
The environment exists of 4 blade centers with onboard 4 and 8 Gb Brocade switches.
1 EVA6400 (xcs9534)
1 MSA2000
1 MSL6000 series (NSR is limited to 2Gb)
1 MSL 4048 (both on 2Gb)
san switches are on latest firmware
6.2.2c on the 4Gb switches and 6.3.x(should have to look for exact numbers) on the 8Gb.
a couple of DL360 and 380s
HBA firmware is also updated in the last 6 months.
Pieter
