Re: Change WWWLN & UUID from cloned LUN

Hi

I assume it's a EVA disk if so you can change the WWLN with SSSU  command

SET VDISK "\Virtual Disks\archive" WORLD_WIDE_LUN_NAME=6000-1fe1-ff00-0000

you can see the command in SSSU reference guide

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?contentType=SupportManual&lang=en&cc=us&docIndexId=64179&taskId=115&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=471497

you can also change the lun ID through Command View

Re: Change WWWLN & UUID from cloned LUN

Thanks for you reply.

In first place i tried change the WWLN from Command View EVA. When i make [Saves changes] a popup say: "You have chosen to enter a World Wide LUN Name, instead of accepting the default. Your WWWLN must have been previously generated by your starage system. It must not be a reandom or invented WWLN. ...

Re: Change WWWLN & UUID from cloned LUN

Hi

You are right the procedure I sent you was to create a new LUN with the same

WWWLN as an old LUN . Also If I think about it the cloned LUN has a different

WWWLN than the original what is your operating system.
