Checking HP FC Disks

Good day,

Kindly, I need your help. We bought 50 HP FC 300GB 15K to use it on our EVA. But we received them with there different box modules. However, we think some disks are not HP genuine disks. Maybe they are refurbish.

How can I check if the disk is genuine HP disk?

Hello,

you can call HP and let validate them the serialnumbers. Maybe the serialnumbers are still listed in one or more support contracts.
