Clear disk drive metadata on HP P6300 EVA

Hi,

I had moved eight disk drives from one storage HP P6300 to another HP P6300 and I didn't ungroup them on the first array.

Now I have access only to the second array and it dosn't work, I can't to initialise it.

How can I clear metada on these drives?

P.S. this thread has been moved from General to Storage Area Networks (SAN) (Enterprise). - Hp Forum Moderator

You should be able to group these disks manually to the current EVA. There is no requirement of clearing metadata for using the disk like this.

I cann't do this, because these disk were not ungrouped on the first storage array

I can only imagine, that the target EVA has only those 8 disks contain some quorum information. Does the array boot up with the identity of the source array? If this is the case, you need to un-initialize the destination array. If this is not possible, support might help with an option located on the fieldservice page.
