Cluster is down

Good Day,

I have a cluster with 4 nodes also with CLX
now there is a problem with cluster and my application is not working ,I need to force one of nodes to work !
I heard there is a command can do that?

You might want to think about giving us some more information... like what what version of the Operating System we are talking about.

What model hardware do you have?

Yeah Windows 2008 R2
Cluster with 4 nodes
With CLX
All I need is How to Force node 1 to work and down all another nodes,but be informed that Cluster Fail over Management could not display any configuration

There used to be a cluster recovery utility, but I think it is/was for 2000/2003.

There were also a few command line, as well as service startup, switches you could use to bring up your cluster in order to fix problems. Not sure if they work on 2008.


/fixquorum (service startup switch only I think)

/noquorumlog (if you lost your quorum disk)


Can you describe the situation any more? Did you lose disks? Is the cluster just not working any more?
