Command View

A Client has lost his password to login to CommandView to manage his EVA 6300.

I just have to add his network login ID to a group on the CommandView Management server right?

Anyone recall the name of that group?

Cheers

Re: Command View

it depends on the version of Command View and if it's configured for domain authentication but i believe the group you're looking for is HP Storage Admins

Re: Command View

Well with the P6300 it has to be with that group or "HP Storage Users" if they only want view access.

This is the installation guide for CV:

See page 21.

Re: Command View

The CV installer creates a log file for configured group name mapping in C:\Program Files (x86)\Hewlett-Packard\Sanworks\Element Manager for StorageWorks HSV. The name of the file is ccbgn-*.log.

You can also use the XF/MIF framework to display or reconfigure the actual mapping.
