Connecting brocade switches

Hi all,
Our company have purchased SD2. Boot disk is presented from EVA through brocade SAN Switch 300 model. Now I need to present LUN from EMC disk.


Already we have a enterprise setup such as EMC Storage box is connected through Connectrix 48K SAN Switch (Brocade) .

Now can i interconnect both the Switches. SFP spped is 4G in both switches. Help me to proceed

Hey, some ideas:

Firmware same/compatible level?
Zoning database and default needs to be the same on both switches.
Time-Out-Values (like E_A_TOV, R_A_TOV) needs to be the same.
What you can do is just take a cable and connect the switches with an E_Port.

If they are compatible they will merge. If not, you will get an error in switchshow/errdump/errshow that will tell you more.

The Connectrix 48000 is a Brocade 48000 is a HP 4/256 SAN Director.
