Connection of P2000 G3 iscsi's SAS expansion port

Hello. I have a HP P2000 G3 with the 4x1GB ISCSI controllers, I have a server with a external SAS 6gb/s input, and was wondering if I could connect my SAN to the server via the SAS expansion port? I have tried, but with no sucsess.

Is it even possible, or is it just for connecting more SAN enclousures together?

Re: Connection of P2000 G3 iscsi's SAS expansion port

If you have a P2000 with 1GB iSCSI you connect the Server with 1GB iSCSI (Ethernet LAN).

If you have a Server with SAS HBA you need a P2000 SAS Model or change the SAS HBA in the Server to a Ethernet Card.

The SAS Connector on the P2000 iSCSI Conntrollers are only to connect Drive Shelfs to the P2000.
