Hi,
i try to configure a CA between an EVA4000 and a P6300, but no paths are available in the Remote System Connection Status.
I have already done some CA configurations between similar EVAs without problems, but the main difference today is a zoning between ports 1 of the EVA4000 with ports 3 of the P6300 on the first Fabric, and a zoning between ports 2 of the EVA4000 with ports 4 of the P6300 on the second Fabric.
The reason is the iSCSI/FC P6300 model with only ports 3 and 4 on its controller.
The zones are :
zone: Repli_Fabric1
EVA_CTRLA_PORT1; EVA_CTRLB_PORT1; P63_CTRLA_PORT3;
P63_CTRLB_PORT3
zone: Repli_Fabric2
EVA_CTRLA_PORT2; EVA_CTRLB_PORT2; P63_CTRLA_PORT4;
P63_CTRLB_PORT4
So, EVA4000 firmware is 6.220 and P6300 firmware is 10.001, i check on the HP P6000 Enterprise Virtual Array Compatibility Reference, and it is OK between these two arrays with these arrays.
Any idea?
Jean-Pierre

SolutionYes, all ports on both EVA4000 and P6300 are on-line, and some LUNs are running on each.
So, both arrays are connected on same new switchs 8Gbs with 7.0.0c firmware on each Fabric (no ISL), and are configured by defaut.
I try to change for HP-FC protocol as soon as possible

Re: Continuous Access problem with EVA4000 and P6300: no Paths available
Right,
the HP-FC Protocol is changed on the P6300 and the switchs FC, and all the paths are OK.
