Controller ports and fabrics crisscrossed - does it matter?

Two EVA 8100s with CA.
About to implement HP-recommended "six fabric" configuration and discovered that the odd numbered EVA controller ports on EVA1 go to Fabric A (good) but the even numbered ports on EVA2 go to Fabric A.

Other than making zoning a little more confusing, does it really matter?

It is not a problem in principle. It can't affect functionality of course it is not in accordance with headquarters culture. :)
