Device files change after edit san switch Zone

Hello,

we have rp7410 and hp-ux 11i and hp san switch 2/8 port,

san switch have zone,

my question is:
If I change the zoning on switch, Are device files of disks on hp-ux changes?

Zoning will not cause a change, but if you connect the cable (from storage) to another port the file will change.

but I have another question,

my hsv 100 "battery cache system" show in command view has status "Low Charge",

how can I solve it?
is it have any affect on hsv operation?

Hello,

log a call at HP. If you EVA is under support, they will replace the battery.

A zoning change will not cause a device file change. Only if you change the cabling, a device file change will occur.

"low charge" isn't necessarily a problem. The system will regularly charge/uncharge the batteries. Watch it!

now I'm seeing two path exists for each vdisk when I run ioscan,
