Disk is unmappable in command view eva.
Hi,
I have EVA5000. problem was started with the disk failuar. I have replaced the disk with new one and grouped the disk. Disk grouping has been successfully completed at that time but disk was appeared in unmappable hardware. I have again cheked the enclosure and found that one I/O Module was faulty. I have replaced the I/O Module with new one and regroup the disk. agian disk has been grouped properly but it is still showing in unmappable hardware.
I do appreciate feedback on this
Regards,
Nabeel

Re: Disk is unmappable in command view eva.
Hi!
Any error messages on the EMU at the back of that disk enclosure?
Things you could try would be to reseat the cable in the CAB port in the EMU in that enclosure. Or reseat the whole EMU module.
Sometimes power cycling the EVA is the only way to fix this.
