Hi,
We have a dual port QLA2462 hba, but only one of its 2 ports is connected to our fabric. The other one is simply disconnected. Is it possible to disable an unused port so that my HPSIM Console stops sending out warning emails all the time?
Thanks

Solution
Don't know about your environment, but a loopback connector helps.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Dual Port HBA's
Yeah I've to come to the same conclusion if Im honest. I was just hoping there was a way of disabling the port in the bios or something similar.
Thanks for your help.
