EVA 3k Battery low charge

Hi,

I have HP 3000 storage, in Command view EVA the controller 1 battery is showing operational state low charge. But battery state is good. No amber indication in array. Whether we need to replace batttery ?

I would have the card checked to see if its charging the battery properly. If yes, I would replace the battery.

Hi, the battery just appears in low charge status.

Battery charger, battery module 1 and battery module 2 appear in good state.

Has it been in this state for a long time?

Hi,

check the cache battery state after 24 hours.
in CV eva.
sure you will find it in full charged

IN NAVIGAOR :

State: Battery System Hold-up Time is greater than 96 hours --> Battery System Hold-up Time is greater than 0 and less than 96 hours;

then after a few hours the new state is the following:

State: Battery System Hold-up Time is greater than 0 and less than 96 hours --> Battery System Hold-up Time is greater than 96 hours;

Hi!

I have the same problem on an EVA 5000. However, the operational state low charge did not disappear since almost 4 weeks, even though the controller shows the same voltage as the one in "Good" operational state. I have as well no amber indication at the batteries. Is there any solution to this problem?

This kind of reporting generally depends on the battery backup time. If the battery backup time calculated by the controller is less then it will give this kind of warning..

based on my experience, one of the customer is having only single battery with good state and second battery failed (removed from array) is showing the same warning..

As we need to replace the both batteries as recommanded the same issue solved after replacement of both batteries.

I have the same probleme today, i replaced the battery last week (5days). I will go today and replace both battery, and see if it solve the probleme.
