We have EVA 4000 storage with 1 disk enclosure 14 disk (146 gb) all vraid configure as vraid 5
now we will add another disk enclosure 14 disk( 300gb )
what is the best for DG to create anew one with vraid 1 or vraid 5
and what the minimum free space recomended to left in this disk group for high availabity
tahnks in advance

Hi,
Read best pratices paper (Attached).
EVa uses distributed sparing, the more space you leave, the more high available. For the disk group you can define spare drives!!
