EVA 440 maximum cabinets/disks?

Hi!

We are using a EVA4400, with one diskcabinet full of 300GB disks and two diskcabinets full of 450GB drives.

Is it still possible to add two diskcabinets full of 1TB FATA disks? (if yes, the disks will be included in a seperate diskgroup obv).

Oh yes, that is very possible.

See the quickspecs for limitations:

It says that the EVA4400 does up to 96 disk drives. 96/12=8 disk shelves :)

As you have 3 already, you can add 5 more.

It is possible to do this addition online, but please don't do it on an old firmware.
