EVA 4400 and Brocade HBA AP769A Direct Connect
Hi
I have 2 DL580G6 with two HBA AP769A(fw 1.1.0.10)each, and Redhat 5.5 and W2K3R2SP2 connected direct to the EVA 4400 with fiber cables to a EVA 4400 fw 9522000. SO drivers 1.1.0.10
Problems:
- I dont have link of FP1 or FP2 of both controllers connected to this HBAs
- Then, I cant map any WWN host on the EVA, and I cant assign Vdisks. The HBA have led link 4GB on, but EVA SFP leds are off.
- Is that configuration supported?
Any ideas?
Greetings

Re: EVA 4400 and Brocade HBA AP769A Direct Connect
Hi
You probably need to logon the WOCP and set all the host ports (FP1/2) to direct connect on both ctrls. Remember to save the changes on the "save" button as well.
