Re: EVA 4400 new firmware?????
I don't know what firmware that will solve this problem because it's not official yet, this news I got it from HP Partner in Yemen
The distance between sites 35 km ,the bandwidth is 8 MBPS E1,connectivity normal as any storage
Our problem are
1- data replication operation is very very slow every 12 hours just 1%
2- Database activity also very slow
so,they said that firmware will solve these problems

Re: EVA 4400 new firmware?????
What hardware are you using to connect the sites? IP Distance Gateways? MPR's? something else?

Re: EVA 4400 new firmware?????
2) It's a final firmware version, just not released through the public web.
3) It contains fixes for Continuous Access but not for your case. For performance problems you must check PING latency on the replication link, and the buffer to buffer credits on the switches. There are parameters on the ports of the switches that have to be changed. See the Continuous Access planning guide.

Re: EVA 4400 new firmware?????
How much data is it trying to replicate?
I would definately check out the utilization of the link. Check out the evaperf utility for checking utilization/performance of the EVA
